This post involves work with a variety of young people, and adults with Learning Disabilities who present with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will join a supportive team of Speech and Language Therapists and assistants, committed to providing high quality intervention focused on the patient’s needs. The post holder will be expected to be able to deliver intervention in a flexible and autonomous manner; through families, carers, schools, day services, other professionals, and direct with patients. Relevant experience working with these client groups is essential, and it would be an advantage to have experience of working with other agencies within health or education.
