Job Description

This position provides a full‑time training opportunity (theory and practicum) to prepare staff for a full‑time rotation in the Specialty department. Upon completion, staff will be placed in a regular full‑time position within the trained specialty.

Key Responsibilities

Reports to the Nurse Manager, Department Head, or designate.

• Plans and provides direct nursing care to patients/residents in the hospital or community in accordance with unit/program philosophy, competency guidelines, policies, and BCCNM Standards for Nursing Practice.
• Supports continuous improvement of quality and safety throughout all aspects of the role.
