Specialist: Site Acquisition and Permit

What You’ll Do

Role purpose: To coordinate and execute site acquisition, land rights administration, statutory approvals and permitting activities required for telecommunications infrastructure deployment. The role supports the achievement of rollout objectives by facilitating regulatory approvals, engaging stakeholders, managing consultants, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and MAST policies within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Coordinate end-to-end site acquisition and permitting activities for assigned telecommunications infrastructure projects
• Secure land rights, landlord consents, municipal approvals and statutory permits in accordance with regulatory requirements and MAST standards
• Engage and maintain relationships with municipalities, regulatory authorities, landlords, consultants and internal stakeholders to facilitate approvals
