Overview:
The E5 – Engineer is a professional engineer or geoscientist who applies engineering knowledge to provide innovative engineering, estimating, planning, and quality management services for medium to high complexity projects and/or operations safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
What you will be doing:
This role requires strong technical background and experience in transmission system protection and control, including practical and theoretical knowledge in power system parameters and protection systems.
The role is focused on providing commissioning acceptance services and advanced level technical support for the P&C systems on the BC Hydro transmission system and requires interaction with a wide variety of business units within the company (Integrated Planning, Grid Operations, Field Operations, Generation, Distribution, and Asset Management).
