Function of Position:

The Title IX/Civil Rights Investigator is a key role in ensuring MCC's adherence to federal and state law, as well as college policies. This position is responsible for conducting prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations of complaints and allegations involving sexual misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and related violations of college policy affecting students, faculty, staff, and community members. The Investigator will manage the investigation process, gather and analyze evidence, interview parties and witnesses, prepare detailed investigation reports, and provide findings and recommendations, while ensuring procedural fairness and confidentiality throughout all stages of the investigative process.
