Specialist Grade Geriatrician

Job summary
The Trust is recruiting a Specialist Grade doctor in Geriatric Medicine to join the established team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Woolwich. This post is designed for experienced clinicians with at least 12 years of clinical practice, including a minimum of 6 years at middle-grade level or above in Geriatric Medicine. The successful candidate will join a dynamic department currently comprising eight substantive geriatricians, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for older adults, delivering comprehensive assessments across our service.

The post has been created to support and expand innovative models of care for frail older patients. The Trust operates a dedicated frailty pathway, including an Acute Frailty Unit (AFU) and a Frailty Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) service.
