Specialist Consultant - Psychiatry - 2080 per day

Locum cover is required for:

• 27 - 31 July 2026
• 21 - 25 September 2026
• 16 November 2026 onwards

Position Details:

• Southland Hospital are seeking long term, onsite cover for their inpatient unit.
• Due to a longer term locum finishing up and a retiring Psychiatrist they are going to have urgent needs which has meant they are needing committed cover options from July 2026 to April 2027.
• With this in mind they have the opportunity to review candidates with good availability (this needs to be periods of months rather than weeks) and seek approval for increased rates.
• Please note that on call is a requirement for this cover.
