Job summary
We are looking for Specialist Cardiac Physiologists to join our dedicated and friendly cardiac physiology team. We strive to ensure that a consistently high quality service is delivered to our patients, underpinned by a well-trained and motivated team. From our base in the modern Essex Cardiothoracic Centre (CTC), we cover the whole Basildon site incorporating both tertiary and secondary care services. This unique model of service provision spanning diagnosis to treatment pathways offers applicants an ideal opportunity to either expand skills into new areas or to develop existing skills to highly specialist levels. Applicants should be able to independently carry out and report on a range of procedures and be capable of managing their own workload. Ideally they should have knowledge and skills to support practice across a range of sub-specialties e.g echo, cath lab, device management, ECG interpretation.
