Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for this band 6 Specialist BMS role in the Clinical Biochemistry Department at Charing Cross Hospital Automation laboratory. We are seeking a self-motivated and suitably qualified Biomedical Scientist with strong post registration experience, along with an IBMS Specialist Portfolio in Clinical Biochemistry or equivalent demonstrable specialist knowledge and experience. Although we are recruiting for a Band 6 Specialist BMS in Clinical Biochemistry, if a suitable Band 6 candidate is not appointed, the post may be offered under Annex U, with progression to Band 6 on successful completion of the relevant IBMS Specialist Portfolio. As both biochemistry and serology assays are performed on same platforms, you will be expected to rotate through Serology section upon completion of appropriate training and competency.
