Special Educator

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled and dedicated Special Educator to support learners with diverse learning needs and ensure an inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educators, parents, counsellors and school leadership to identify learning challenges, implement individualized interventions and promote the academic, social, and emotional development of learners.

Key Responsibilities

·       Identify and assess learners with learning difficulties, developmental delays, or special educational needs through observations, screening tools, and academic data.

·       Develop, implement and regularly review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on learners' strengths and learning needs.

·       Provide one-on-one and small-group remedial instruction using evidence-based teaching strategies.
