Job Description
We’re currently recruiting Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to support pupils across schools in Wigston and surrounding areas.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll be helping children who need additional support to feel confident, included, and engaged throughout the school day. Support may be provided on a 1:1 basis or within small groups, depending on the needs of the setting.
Key responsibilities
Providing support on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting pupils with classroom engagement and routines
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Working collaboratively with teaching and SEN staff
Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Have at least 6 months’ experience working with children with SEN or within a similar role
