Job Description

• Working with the Brazil Breeding Lead to develop a robust breeding strategy and execution plan for soybean breeding program in Brazil.
• Defining the breeding objectives for the main soybean market and making the corresponding breeding plan according to the breeding objectives.
• Leading the team to carry out soybean breeding activities, including germplasm evaluation, population development, pipeline design, product design and yield testing with accuracy and efficiency, and deliver product advancement and commercialization and etc.
• Preparing nursery and yield trial experiments. Collecting field notes on key agronomic traits on populations and lines. Making assessment of pipeline performance in alignment with market needs.
• Effectively integrate MAS, GS, sparse design and sparse testing, and data management skills into the breeding program. Developing and deploying new breeding technologies.
