Main Responsibilities
  • Cover live and breaking news, enterprise and investigative stories in the region.
  • Generate story concepts and execute them with high‑quality writing.
  • Build and manage a network of stringers, reporters, and translators for sourcing and reporting.
  • Collaborate with regional reporters during major news moments.
  • Work with Photo, Video, Audio, and other departments to produce stories in multiple formats across NYT products.
  • Oversee bureau logistics, operations, and staff.
