Experienced Sous Chef wanted for High-Volume Catering Company
A local, privately owned catering company is currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. We specialize in high-volume catering for events and parties of all sizes, held at various venues throughout the metropolitan area.
Job Responsibilities:
- Food preparation and cooking for events and parties
- Working on-site at various events and venues
- Performing other general kitchen duties as needed
- Menu development
- Inventory and price management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high-volume cooking or catering is a must
- Strong knife skills
- Culinary degrees are preferred, but not required
- Food safety certification
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of food, cooking techniques, and various cuisines
