Sous Chef – Harpenden – £35,000 per annum plus bonus & tronc (approx. £7,000)

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef on behalf of a premium gastropub in Harpenden. The group offers an exceptional opportunity to work with fresh, seasonal ingredients within a structured, progressive company.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in developing and executing high-quality menus.

Oversee daily kitchen operations, stock control, and ordering.

Mentor and motivate the kitchen team to maintain high morale.

Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
Experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Competent Junior Sous in a gastropub.

Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and high-standard food execution.

Ability to lead shifts confidently in a fast-paced environment.
