Job Description
Our client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Sourcing Specialist II for their Columbus, IN location. Responsibilities:
+ Providing tactical, administrative support for the Sourcing team
+ Running monthly reports
+ Tracking progress on projects and reporting out status
+ Helping other team members get new parts set up in the system
+ Conducts complex analysis of markets, supply chains, and supply base; applies analysis to purchasing process improvement initiatives.
+ Identifies qualified suppliers and executes sound source selection processes.
+ Has regular interface with suppliers within area of responsibility and maintains the supplier relationship.
+ Understands how key purchasing principles are used toward assuring supply.
+ Independently carries out sourcing activities with full consideration for the impact of those activities on the end-to-end supply chain.
