Job Description
Sonographer (Radiology – Ultrasound) – Band 8A
Location: NHS Grampian
Contract: October 2025 – 31 March 2026
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
NHS Grampian is seeking an experienced Band 8A Sonographer to join the Radiology – Ultrasound department on a fixed-term contract.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent UK experience
- Proficiency in General Ultrasound
- Experience in Gynaecology, Small Parts, and Vascular scans
- Strong communication and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently within a busy NHS environment
- Role subject to enhanced police check
