Solar Design Engineer (SDE)

Job Description

• The Solar Design Engineer (SDE) will be responsible for Comprehensive Site Survey, Feasibility Studies, Solar PV design, Detailed BoQ, and project commissioning.
• Solar System Design: Design Solar PV Systems based on site conditions and applicable codes and standards.
• System Sizing and Configuration: Determine optimal size and configuration of solar systems by analyzing factors such as energy consumption, available space, shading analysis, and system performance.
• Equipment Selection: Select appropriate solar components including solar panels, inverters, mounting structures. Prepare detailed BoQ listing equipment requirements and specifications.
• Design Documentation: Prepare detailed design documentation, including system layouts, electrical diagrams, structural calculations, and equipment specifications, to support the construction and installation process.
