Software Test Engineer (Santiago de Querétaro)

Job Summary

The Software Test Engineer will facilitate the Software Manager / Test Lead and Project Stakeholders by identifying and communicating issues in the design and implementation of software as early in the development life cycle as possible. The role will report on software state, trends, and risks to the project, analyze and report on test coverage, improve testing efficiency, highlight opportunities for test improvement, and identify new tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Analysis and Test case Creation: Using customer requirements, internal system and software requirements, automotive norms and personal experience as a basis, develop a comprehensive set of software acceptance tests to ensure the system meets customer requirements and relevant international standards.
