Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Guadalajara)

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform daily manual test execution (feature and regression tests) that includes software, firmware, and mobile app (iOS, Android).
• Log and update bugs in an internal bug tracking system.
• Perform basic root cause analysis on failed tests.
• Work directly with the lead Quality Assurance Engineer to understand the test plan, features and timelines to ensure quality of our product.
• Suggest and make updates to the test plan as needed and review with the lead Quality Assurance Engineer.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, computer engineering or related field
• At least 3 years experience in Software related testing
• Familiar with Software Quality Assurance (SWQA) fundamentals
• Preferred experience in testing devices and mobile apps
• Preferred experience in debugging issues and Test Management tool
