ISR Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced ISR Software Engineer to join the FITS Software Department at Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). The role focuses on embedded software development for ISR Mission Systems on L‑M platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional system requirements and define software requirements using DOORS.
• Design and model software detailed design for specific functionalities in UML with Rational Rose.
• Implement and code software components in C++ and Python.
• Define and execute software qualification tests, including unit, component, and integration testing.
• Manage configuration of software components via GIT/CVS and resolve issues (change proposals/bugs) in JIRA.
• Act as the focal point, coordinating with the organization on assigned functionalities, providing issue analysis, support, and improvement ideas.
