About the Role
As a Sociology Teacher, you will deliver thought-provoking and academically rigorous lessons that encourage students to analyse how society is structured and how individuals and groups interact within it. You will support learners in developing strong analytical, evaluative, and essay-writing skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Sociology lessons in line with GCSE and A-Level specifications

Teach topics such as education, families, crime and deviance, social inequality, and research methods

Encourage critical thinking and sociological debate in the classroom

Support students in developing essay writing and exam techniques

Assess, track, and report on student progress

Contribute to curriculum development within the Social Sciences department
