We are seeking within the Family Support and Safeguarding Service a social Care officer who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. The ideal candidate will embody the following qualities:
Support social workers with assessments and interventions for vulnerable children and families.
Assist with specialist tasks such as chronologies, genograms, life‑story work, and direct work with children.
Contribute to home visits alongside social workers and help complete case closure tasks.
Liaise with partner agencies to gather information for assessments and safeguarding enquiries.
Support the development of multi‑agency safeguarding plans by analysing and sharing relevant information.
