Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal trade school or equivalent acceptable to the district
Four years' experience in an automotive mechanic trade with proficiency in diesel engines, air brake systems and other related systems.
Ability to follow written and oral instruction and to complete service records and reports.
Stay current on latest diagnostic/fleet maintenance software such as quickserv and M5
Ability to operate machinery, including but not limited to, forklift, plow truck, Bobcat, bus lifts, tractors and tow truck
Ability to diagnose and repair different makes and models of school buses 
Able to create and complete work order process 
Must have or obtain a CDL Class B Commercial Driver's License* and a School Bus Drivers License with P*,S and air brake endorsements* to be successfully completed within the probationary period of employment
Ability to lift 50 pounds with assistance
