Sign Language Interpreter - 2026/2027 School Year

Amergis Staffing is seeking a Sign Language Interpreter for the 2026/2027 School Year!! The Educational Sign Language Interpreter is a trained professional who facilities communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and others within an educational setting. Often, American Sign Language (ASL) is used to interpret spoken language into sign language and vice versa, which ensures students have accommodations to classroom instruction, activities and learning discussions.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Proficiency in American Sign Language
+ Associates degree or Bachelors degree in interpreting, deaf studies or related field, preferred
+ State Board of Education Initial Sign Language Interpreter Certificate (as applicable)
+ Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) certificate (as applicable per state regulation or client requirement)
