Shop Floor Supervisor

Overview

SPX Cooling in Worcester is looking for a hands-on Shop Floor Supervisor to manage our dynamic production environment. You’ll oversee the fabrication and assembly of modules per week, ensuring work is allocated effectively, completed safely, and meets our high-quality standards. This role is not just office-based — you’ll be actively involved on the shop floor and across our facilities, managing staff and subcontractors alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and allocate work to shop floor staff and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion.
• Manage production planning, timing, and materials handling.
• Focus on static build in a production line environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency (CI initiatives).
