Job Description
Job Summary
Manages Shop Floor Scheduling activities in the Production Area. Includes management of visual systems to communicate/monitor the sequence of production orders, ensuring availability of resources (tooling, raw material, etc.), and creating and maintaining the optimal production sequence.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor monthly and yearly S&OP for designed customers.
- Maximize production/utilization of shared manufacturing resources while ensuring full consistency with the mix of MPS products, volumes, and required availability dates.
- Track manufacturing performance and daily performance against schedule, challenging and understanding whenever performance deviates from standard.
- Monitor stock coverage daily to avoid out-of-stock and overstock by adjusting run sequence or raising issue with Master Scheduler.
