Join the ShelterCare team at House of Friendship as a dedicated Support Worker in Waterloo. Engage with individuals experiencing homelessness to provide meaningful support and facilitate their transition to permanent housing.
This full-time position requires a compassionate ShelterCare Support Worker committed to providing holistic services. You will work with a diverse team and implement a trauma-informed, person-centered approach. The focus will be on building meaningful relationships, maintaining program integrity, and ensuring safety in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build rapport with participants to support their housing goals
• Conduct intake and orientation for new shelter residents
