Sheet Metal Certifying Technician

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will perform, oversee, and certify structural maintenance on Airline and third-party aircraft undergoing line or base maintenance. This includes repairs and modifications, installation and replacement, inspections, and defect rectification. The role also involves overseeing the work of assigned technicians, ensuring all tasks are carried out, certified, and recorded accurately and in a timely manner, in full compliance with approved standards, regulatory requirements, and the airline’s maintenance procedures, maintaining airworthiness at all times.

Key Result Responsibilities

• Prepare for, perform, and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with task cards, approved data, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee the work of assigned technicians, ensuring tasks are performed to the required standards, resolving technical issues, and providing on-the-job guidance where needed.
