Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of RSTO’s environmental site and corporate SHE programs.
- Coordinate site-wide hazardous and non-hazardous waste collections, characterization and storage programs and interface with waste disposal contractors’ representatives.
- Prepare and submit documentation for compliance (e.g., mandatory waste reporting, waste manifest, e-consignment).
- Understand applicable environmental permit and regulatory requirements, and assess compliance risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement procedures and practices to minimize environmental risks and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Report, investigate, and follow up on environmental releases and incidents.
- Monitor, track and update Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database.
- Support other on-going sustainability initiatives as required.
