Overview

The Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC) is an incorporated non‑profit organization and registered charity, focused on survivor‑directed support services and ending gender‑based violence.

Responsibilities

• Attend at least six board meetings per year.
• Prepare for and attend meetings responsibly.
• Understand the board role and SASC Management.
• Demonstrate commitment to SASC’s organizational values.
• Apply skills, knowledge and creativity to board work.
• Work candidly, collaboratively, respectfully and efficiently with colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Support board decisions once made.
• Respect fiduciary obligations, acting honestly and in the best interests of the corporation and exercising due diligence.
