Setter/Operator - Turning (Sliding Head)
Location: Rugby
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Salary/Shift pattern: Competitive/Monday-Thursday 2pm-12am
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Sliding Head Programmer / Setter / Operator with experience on Star (M32 / SR / SB) and Citizen M-Series machines . The role involves full machine setup, production support, and continuous improvement within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
Main Duties
- Complete full CNC sliding head setups from tooling layout and process sheets
- Produce and approve first-off components to drawing
- Prepare tooling, programs, and ancillaries for upcoming jobs (pre-production kitting)
- Inspect and manage tooling post-production, reporting wear or damage
- Update tooling and process documentation following production runs
