Course Description / Relevant Employment Duties

This course will study the Mohawk language, in its spoken and written forms, in the context of Iroquoian cultural traditions, values, beliefs and customs.

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in the Mohawk language is essential.
• Preferably have a Bachelor's degree in Mohawk language or equivalent.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and sensitivity to Indigenous people’s cultural traditions and spirituality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching at the university level.
