Service Technician - Mechanical/Heavy Diesel/Hydraulics

Duties & Responsibilities

• Field service: Perform above tasks on site at customers as required, both on surface and possibly underground at mines.
• Respond and attend promptly to equipment breakdowns at customer sites.
• Carry out service and repairs on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components. Solve complex equipment-related issues including diagnostic fault finding.
• Commission new or refurbished equipment at customers.
• Provide training on supplied equipment either on site or at the workshop premises.
• Assemble new equipment according to manuals and instructions.
• Execute service agreement duties with customers for maintenance or inspection of their equipment.
• Receive equipment at premises and perform issued work instructions.
