Service Manager – Procurement

Clustered position: Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang; Shangri-La Golden Sands, Penang; Hotel Jen Penang.

Responsibilities

• acts as coordinators to various divisions department staff and ensure an efficient filing system to obtain result on procurement functions.
• Ensure that goods being ordered are delivered on time and in good quality.
• Interact closely with operating equipment and other F&B supplier.
• Consolidate food products for better price negotiation and contracts.
• Source quotations from suppliers to ensure purchases are made in the best interest of the company.
• Process assigned PR’s.
• Performs market survey, including competitor hotels and make comparison with current suppliers prices to ensure competitiveness.
• Maintain & regulary update vendor profile files to comply with the Shangri-La requirements.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports.
