Service Foreman

Minimum requirements: - N6 qualification in a mechanical field.
- Recognised Trade Test in Fitting or Fitting & Turning.
- John Thompson Boiler Attendant Certificate (advantageous).
- Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience.
- At least 4 years fitting experience on: - Coal-fired boilers - CFM compressors - Centrifugal and piston-type water pumps - Previous experience in a Charge Hand or Foreman role (preferred). Knowledge and Skills: - In-depth knowledge of mechanical equipment, drives, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and water/steam reticulation systems.
- Skilled in fault-finding and working under pressure during breakdowns.
- Practically inclined with hands-on ability in tool use and mechanical tasks.
- Competent in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
- Accurate, neat, and efficient in the execution of duties.
