Job Description
Service Engineer – Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire & Security Responsibilities
- Installing and commissioning building management, fire detection and alarm, and electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection.
- Testing and validating system performance through functional testing such as point‑to‑point checks, loop testing, and full system verification to ensure reliable operation and compliance with standards.
- Maintaining and repairing live systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing faults, and repairing hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
- Responding to breakdowns and service calls, attending emergency call‑outs, troubleshooting efficiently, and restoring systems to minimise downtime and safety risk.
