The Wanstead Hospital team are looking for a competent GP vet who is no stranger to a fast‑paced hospital setting and is now looking to progress into a senior position, to help lead our team of GP vets.

Being passionate about training and guiding our junior and trainee colleagues is of the utmost importance, to ensure they are given the best start to their career and can thrive in a busy London hospital environment.

Senior duties include:

• Ensuring a high and improving standard of evidence‑based clinical care amongst GP veterinary colleagues at the Hospital.
• Participating and providing a lead in the clinical consulting, medical and surgical rota for Hospital GP vets.
• Being a Vet GDP advisor – actively supporting the development of the new graduates.
• Actively encouraging excellent communication channels between the hospital team and the rest of the practice.
