Senior Venture Capital Executive

Role summary

• Report directly to the Head of Venture Capital, supporting and leading work on priority VC policy areas including AI, life sciences, regulation and tax. 

• Help shape policy engagement with government, regulators and other external stakeholders by gathering insight from venture capital firms and translating it into clear policy positions. 

• Co-ordinate activity across Policy, External Affairs, Membership and other teams to ensure the VC industry is effectively represented in policy discussions and public affairs engagement. 

• Maintain strong engagement with VC members and relevant non-members to support evidence gathering, policy development and wider understanding of industry priorities, working with the membership team where appropriate.
