Senior Underwriter, Industry Practices

Reporting to the manager, Industry Practices, playing a crucial role by assessing and evaluating the risks involved in insuring. The role provides a fantastic opportunity for those further looking to develop their knowledge and expertise in the Underwriting space.

This role requires a strong understanding of insurance policies, principles and procedures, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Achieve financial targets for allocated Broker panel.
• Deliver set Distribution activities (Broker Visits, Key Account Management, Prospecting, New Business generation).
• Appropriate use of delegated Underwriting authority.
• Appropriate risk assessment process.
• Appropriate deployment of capacity on New & Renewal Business including endorsement of existing coverage.
