Your function (The position is for Zurich OR Brussels)
- Develop and manage strong relationships with clients and brokers across Latin America and Iberia
- Represent Ageas Re in the market through client visits, conferences, and industry events
- Build in‑depth understanding of regional market dynamics, cedants’ underwriting practices, and competitive landscape
- Act as a key regional contact and spokesperson for Credit & Bond reinsurance
- Analyze, evaluate, and underwrite C&B reinsurance submissions, including:
- Cedant financials and portfolio performance
- Country, sector, and credit risk
- Product structure and underlying exposures
- Negotiate and price complex reinsurance contracts in line with underwriting guidelines
- Apply strong technical judgement to ensure profitable and disciplined underwriting decisions
