Senior Steel Production Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely in the rebar finishing area for smooth and efficient operation.
• Ensure the functionality of each machine before starting the operation.
• Perform tasks assigned by the immediate supervisors.
• Report any machine abnormalities such as sound, current, tension, etc. to superior or concerned department.
• Perform clearing activities such as short bar removal, shear cut ends removal, and cutting of “flying” rebars.
• Operate rolling mill machines to achieve the required specifications for good rebar finished products.
• Adhere to safety regulations for working with heavy machinery, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in safety training sessions, audits, and initiatives aimed at maintaining a safe work environment.
• Report any issues with rolls or roll-related equipment to the production supervisors.
