Senior SQL Database Administrator (Azure)

Overview

We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior SQL Database Administrator to join a government client on an initial 3-month contract , with a strong possibility of extension through to December. This is a BAU backfill position supporting critical on-premises and Azure database environments, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and maintaining highly available production systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL environments.
• Troubleshoot database and integration issues across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Ensure database stability, security, performance, and availability.
• Database monitoring, optimization, and account management.
