Senior Software Engineer, Unreal Engine, C++

Responsibilities

• Development of Unreal Engine based training simulation applications for the Varjo XR headsets
• Integrating XR and simulator hardware with Unreal Engine
• Helping customers and partners in the use of Unreal Engine with the Varjo XR technology
• Test-driven development

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience working with Unreal Engine with C++
• Experience in creating multiplayer applications
• Experience setting up 3D content pipelines (e.g., Maya, Blender)
• Experience working with graphics APIs
• Nice to have:
  • Previous experience in VR or XR
  • Experience with other game engines such as Unity
  • Experience with OpenXR
• Team player, ability to perform in cross-functional teams and to share knowledge with others
