Senior Software Engineer (Node), JavaScript SDK (Winnipeg)

About This Role

We’re looking for a seasoned JavaScript engineer to join our growing JavaScript SDK team. In this role you’ll innovate across server-side and edge runtimes—including Node.js, Bun, Deno, and Cloudflare Workers—while shaping the tools used by millions of developers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Explore and extend our suite of JavaScript SDKs for a variety of runtimes, delivering reliable APIs for developers.
• Plan, implement, and ship code; write unit and integration tests and produce clear documentation.
• Use AI tools to enhance productivity and focus on solving complex problems.
• Represent Sentry at open‑source communities such as TC39, the Node.js core team, and the OpenTelemetry SIG.
• Collaborate with Customer Operations, address critical bugs, and engage directly with the user community on GitHub and at conferences.
