Senior Smoking Cessation and Behaviour change Practitioner

This is a secondment post for 9 months. 

The Senior Smoking Cessation Practitioner will support the Service Development Manager (Smoking Cessation) with the development, 
implementation and evaluation of the Help Me Quit Service across Community, secondary care and community settings within SBU 
Health Board.
 

Main duties of the job

 Deputise for the Service Development Lead when required, providing operational leadership to Help Me Quit advisors/practitioners and administrative staff. 
 Required to deliver stop smoking clinics to the public on a regular basis. providing a high quality, individually tailored, intensive, 
empathetic counselling and advisory support to inpatients, outpatients and staff in line with evidence-based guidelines.
