Job Description
Senior Sleep & NIV Physiologist
The closing date is 14 June 2026.
This role is part of the Sleep and Ventilation service at Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea. It involves managing patients with sleep‑related respiratory conditions and complex ventilatory support. Responsibilities include setting up and analysing sleep studies, initiating CPAP/NIV therapy, troubleshooting equipment, reviewing patients virtually or face‑to‑face, and collaborating closely with consultants and multidisciplinary team members.
Main duties
- Perform and analyse sleep studies (oximetry, transcutaneous CO₂, respiratory polygraphy, WatchPat, actigraphy, full polysomnography, MSLT, MWT, Osler tests).
- Initiate and manage CPAP/NIV therapy, including troubleshooting, compliance reporting, mask fitting and humidification across multiple ventilator brands and models.
