Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Infectious Disease (Virology, Microbiology, BSL3) or Medical Chemistry
- Post‑doctoral degree in Health Sciences or related discipline – preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of experience after the PhD in a well‑recognized research laboratory
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a senior management position
- Undertaken and contributed to a sufficient number of publications as a principal investigator or co‑investigator in peer‑reviewed international journals within the last two years
- Must have verifiable references and employment certificates
- Below the age of 56 years
- Must be in excellent health
