Overview

A Senior Research Engineer SoC Architecture is sought by this leading communications organisation to be based at their R+D Centre in Zurich. The Senior Research Engineer SoC Architecture will be responsible for researching emerging computing architectures for next generation wireless systems.

Responsibilities

The Senior Research Engineer SoC Architecture will also analyse architectural trade‑offs, support SoC system design and development, and research into optimising CPU microarchitectures to improve overall SoC performance.

Qualifications

You will have completed your PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar, coupled with 4+ years of experience in software/hardware co‑design in the area of SoC design and development and wireless base‑station communication systems. Experience with software/hardware interfaces and wireless/cellular technologies (LTE, 5G NR, PHY Layer) is beneficial.
