OPEN POSITION: SENIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER

Reference: PE -MVDM-1
Location: Port Elizabeth (Automotive Industry)

Purpose of Role: Assist Materials Planning & Logistics Manager with various planning & continuous improvement duties.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Requirements:

• National Diploma / BTech in Logistics / Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 5-6 years automotive experience essential
• MRP system experience essential
• Knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
• Good understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 & IATF 16949 Elements

Duties include overseeing the day-to-day production planning, planning & scheduling workflow for all departments, preparing production reports, analyzing the production specification & assisting in continuous improvement projects.
